Rocky Reach Hydroelectric Relicensing

We supported the Douglas County PUD in their hydroelectric project relicensing effort.

Work included:

• Establishment of 2nd order project horizontal and vertical control at approximate half-mile intervals along the left and right bank of the 50-mile reach of the Columbia River located between Rocky Reach and Wells Dams.
• Establishing additional control and placing aerial targets in support of high resolution aerial photography covering the project reservoir.
• Recovering and establishing/reestablishing and stake the boundary for the entire project

The survey required recovery of cadastral and project monumentation, analysis, and determination of cadastral and project lines along the entire reach.  A 17-sheet Exhibit G project boundary map set meeting FERC requirements was prepared and provided to the District as our final deliverable.
