Blue Lake/Soap Lake Cable Crossing

We used a combination of conventional and GPS survey methods to accomplish control, topographic and bathymetric surveys, surface modeling and mapping for a submerged electrical cable crossing Blue Lake.  

We located an existing submerged electrical cable defining the easement corridor to be obtained from the DNR and navigated a barge for placement of the new cable within the corridor crossing Blue Lake.  Other elements of the work included:

• Preparing boundary descriptions of the easement corridor
• Coordinating with DNR to complete the acquisition of the aquatic easement across the bed and second class shorelands of Blue Lake (from the State of Washington)
