Dune Lake Substation

We provided an as-built survey of the location of the transmission line, conductors, insulators, and towers at the Dune Lake Substation for the Grant County PUD.  

This project consisted of several tasks, including determining the location of the transmission line wires, their connection points at three towers, the “sag” points of the lines between towers and the connection to the substation and creating three dimensional coordinates of each feature.

We were able to locate all of these features through the use of our HD (High Definition) Laser Scanner and quickly export the necessary data.
